Lauren & Chad

Lauren and Chad purchased a session I donated to an Alpha Chi Omega Alumni fundraiser for Partnerships Against Domestic Violence. I took them to one of my favorite quaint parks in Ansley Park, which, apparently, is a favorite for many other photographers. We encountered two other photographers with their clients that day. Since when are parks for sharing? Despite the intruders, we had a great shoot. After sorting through their photos, I realized I made them kiss a lot. But don’t they make a cute pair of kissers?

Amy

This blue-eyed beauty popped out of nowhere one day at Relapse Theatre, and I'm so happy she did. She's a talented, comic improviser, and I've enjoyed every minute I've spent with her on stage. I also got to know her better after plans for our first head shot session fell through because of rain. We decided to grab dinner instead. When I asked what she wanted to eat, she immediately said nachos. She's funny and she loves nachos. Amy is a woman after my own heart.

Obviously, this is not a head shot, but I couldn't resist taking this photo during Amy's shoot.

Jillian

Jillian Fratkin is a powerhouse performer. Whether she means to or not, she commands the stage. I once called her the Meryl Streep of improv, and I stand by that statement. She really packs a punch, and that's evident with her photo shoot. We literally shot for about 30 minutes, and there were tons of beautiful shots. Jillian effortlessly nailed pose after pose after pose. I suspect you'll see another photo series with Jillian in the near future. You can view more photos from her shoot at http://www.shannonjenkins.com/ under the "Portrait Series" tab.
